  • 2 cups mealie meal
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp Robertsons Portuguese Chicken Spice
  • Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube
  • 1 bunch spinach cleaned and chopped
  • Knorr Thick White Onion Soup
  • 1 Place the vegetables into a pot with a little water, oil, Robertsons Portuguese Chicken Spice and the Knorrox Chicken Stock Cube
  • 2 Allow to simmer for 10 minutes
  • 3 Stir in the chopped spinach and allow it to simmer for a further 10 minutes
  • 4 Mix the mealie meal with the water then add to the pot, stir well, cover and allow to cook for 5-10 minutes
  • 5 When it’s almost done, mix the Knorr Thick White Onion Soup with 2 tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste, then stir it into the pot and let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • 6 Serve with meat or bean dish
